Don't get this wrong. I want to congratulate him on playing big boy football. This was an easy game to call plays for him and he did what he was supposed to do.
He is improving.

He realized we had an advantage in the running game and he took advantage of it.

No trick plays, just enough passing to keep the defense honest. No need for wide receiver screens, throw to Duke out of the backfield.
Straight ahead possession football. The offensive line was balling and he used them.

He should learn from this and hopefully think his game plan through as thoroughly for the FSU matchup.

Determine where our strengths are and use his personnel to take advantage of them like he did this week.
Give our guys a chance with a good game plan and they'll have a shot at the upset.

GO CANES!!!!!

Overall, I've been impressed with Coley's progression as the season's gone on. Not perfect, but a helluva lot better than we saw vs. Louisville, and his work with Kaaya has clearly been top-notch.

I think everyone has made adjustments.

Offense: Too many 3 and outs. We hurt the defense alot by being horrible on 3rd downs. Also, more committed to the running game! We have horses, we need to run them.

Defense: Be more aggressive. Due to TRUSTING the offense will possess the ball and keep them off the field. The defense is also finding a way to create turnovers through being aggressive.

Special Teams: being more careful with the ball. Less chances being taken by Coley in the return game and our kicker has been money.

Been one of the most critical posters of Coley and will be the first to say that he has shown improvement lately. Doing it against 3 inferior teams doesn't say too much but it is a start and we should be happy that he is showing willingness to change. Will see what he is really made of against FSU

So we ball on bad teams and ppl say "but they suck"...exactly we did what were supposed to do its about time we started hammering bad teams.

His play calling hasn't changed that much. The past two games is exactly how he called the games versus Louisville, it's just so happened this time it worked cause we played worse teams.

The O-line has improved. First point of contact is beyond the line of scrimmage.
