Miami is at best coastal champions this year nothing realistically has changed after the UVA nightmare loss was and I hope you guys were not seriously thinking this Miami team was going to make the playoffs with a true freshmen QB, worst kicker in america, bad OL and no offensive coordinator worth 50 cents. Yeah I know Miami has a playoff defense but sadly that is not enough to be a playoff team. The good thing is that Miami still controls their destiny in the coastal division which is the weakest I have seen in years and can still make a new years day bowl game which hopefully this time they can win. The sad part about the UVA loss was that it showed us how far away this program is from a NC title game and well the dark side of Mark Richt but again Miami was not going to be in the playoffs with this current team this year so I know its frustrating but its time to keep things in perspective about the current situation with this Miami football program and right now that is still in development to become a playoff/nc contender.

I'm pretty sure our chances at any kind of decent Bowl game ended on Saturday.

But you can keep on with your "nothing has changed" narrative.
You cant be more wrong Miami can still win the coastal make the ACC title game and even play in a new years day bowl game even with the loss on saturday now not saying that will happen but its still their for the taking in a acc coastal that is super weak **** VT is first place by barely beating a UNC team by 3 points which Miami completely destroyed.

You really wrote this and think we have a shot at what you wrote below? LMFAO!!!! Cuz we just lost to a trash Virginia team...TRRRAAASSSSHHHH

Another year and the same ****. "We can still make the playoffs if we win out from here". Next loss, "We can still win the Coastal".

Miami could have also learned from the wonderful Pitt and Clemson performances from last year and improved from coaching down to ensure such debacles didn't occur.

Please don't forget you would have been pretty hard pressed to find too many people that doesn't say Miami AT WORST should win the Coastal...not at best.

This team has ZERO offensive identity, and it isn't on the players. Richt and Searells are the clear issues...and if the coaching is as stellar as they believe it is, then they have huge problems getting their well coached players to execute AT ALL...either way...weak.

There is absolutely no reason to believe Miami will still win the Coastal.
I cant blame you after the UVA loss but if they win the next couple of games I will hear people on here like bring Clemson lol I know how this is every year here.

Even with a good OC they would still have a let down loss with a true freshmen QB who was completely off throwing 2 ints in the 1st qtr against UVA, Miami needs more than just an OC to be a playoff contender.

Sure we can hope to win the Coastal, play Clemson tough, and win a New Year's Day bowl game. And while all of that would be nice it doesn't make losses to Pitt or UVA easier to accept. Losing to average ACC teams was supposed to stop with Shannon, Golden, and now Richt. Random ACC losses will occur -- even Clemson has lost to Pitt and Syracuse recently -- but they've got a national championship sandwiched in between.
