I've just moved to the area from Arkansas for a job opportunity. Was wondering if any Canes Fam got together for games around here or anywhere remotely close to the Baltimore-DC area.

I know that area well as I have lived in DC, Maryland and Virginia. I think you will be better off in DC. Check out DCCanes on Twitter. I believe they watch games at the 1831 Bar & Lounge located at 1831 M Street NW in Washington, DC. Traffic into DC from the Columbia Mall area shouldn't be an issue on game days and you can even take the metro in from an orange line stop on that side of Maryland (I would look to see how close the Farragutt Square metro stop is to the bar). Good luck.

Welcome to the area - I'm in Montgomery county. The dc canes club - they have a Facebook group - does game wayches

I use to live in Columbia near the mall. I know a bunch of Canes fans use to meet at Dave and Busters in Arundel Mills. But DC might be a better locale. It's probably 30 minutes away.

Congrats on the new job. As an aside, they actually have decent youth football in Columbia, MD if you have kids. The Ellicott City Patriots were well coached with good athletes and great facilities. Enjoyed competing against them.
 
Thank you all for the info. Ill check 1831 out for most games. I'll be able to make it to the UVA game this year. My dad and I will be with the CanesUnited Facebook group for that one.
 
I live in Arlington, VA as well. This will be the first year at the new bar so I'm interested to check it out. It's pretty centrally located between the red/orange/blue/silver lines so it should be solid for boozing and getting in and out fairy painlessly
 
I'm in Baltimore if you ever come up this way. There's no organized Miami group or bar up here - in terms of ACC allegiances it's almost all Virginia Tech fans.

D.C. has a big Miami group (1,000+ members). They're on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/DCCanes/ They watch their games at 1831 Bar.

My kids are in Montgomery too. I am in Richmond. I think you and I went to the same undergrad.

M Street in Georgetown?

No, M Street in Georgetown is in the higher 20's and 30's. 18th and M is close to DuPont Circle, close to Connecticut Ave. Farragut North or DuPont Circle would be the Metro stops.
