College Gameday crew picks Notre Dame to beat Miami

Three of the five panelists on ESPN’s College GameDay — including Nick Saban — picked Notre Dame to
beat Miami later today.

During the Saturday morning pregame show, Desmond Howard and Lee Corso sided with the Hurricanes, while Saban, Pat McAfee, and Kirk Herbstreit rolled with the Irish.

ESPN’s Football Power Index gives Notre Dame a 54.9% chance to win, and FanDuel has the Irish as a 2.5-point favorite.

Maybe I missed it (CG gets put on background on Saturday mornings; it's an SEC and B1G slobberfest now) but who is taking over for mascot picks now?

My suspicion?

Yeah, PM likes being put to "sleep" by a guy in tights slathered in baby oil...Picked against the 'Canes (along with CIS favorite Suckeyestreit) so it really bodes well as the show becomes more irrelevant awaiting Coach Prime replacing AFLAC buddy Satan after the former is fired and the latter is given the deed to the state of Alabama to come back to Tuscaloosa.
