Coley or AQM

Coley was already our best WR matchup in any meaningful game.
I think AQM's replacement would get 75% of what AQM would produce.
I think Coley's replacement might struggle to reach 50% of Coley's impact.
I don't think it's all that close. We need Coley to stay. And, luckily, if he wants to secure a 1st contract worthy of his ability, he needs us as well.

You'd think that - but Richt only had one 1,000 yard season from a WR while at Georgia. Terence Edwards had 1,004 yards in 2002. AJ Green never did it, so it's definitely not a given.
 
we still got 10 more days before we will know anything.... also i think richt will probably sit down with aqm and coley before that date and advise them correctly, plus they should have their nfl draft prospectus back by then as well

I know it is not answering the question but I think they both stay after the draft grades they just got. Coley was told he was probably a third day draft pick and AQM was told he might not even get drafted.
 
they both will most likely will come back for their senior seasons with those draft day grades....... the good thing for us is that we need them both back next year......

DL --- muhammad, norton, willis, thomas ------------ this is a nasty front four and i would like to see them play together for 1 season under coach kool and manny d's crazy aggressive defense
 
I will make an argument that Aqm could be tougher to replace because he's a pure pass rusher. Not sure we have anyone else with that skill set. Hopefully chad delivers with a more appropriate scheme.

While no other WR has the physical skills of coley, we have a veteran qb along with some pretty serious TE talent. I would be shocked if Bruce doesn't make a impact as a freshman. I'm also optimistic that Lewis will be a bit better than people think. Plus he'll be a senior. Certainly not suggesting he will be a star but senior leadership tends to matter. We won't be lacking for targets on the field.

Bottom line both need to stay.
