This offseason Manny preached accountability, among other things.
If the Canes continue to struggle this season it will be interesting to see if Manny follows Golden and Richt by not replacing coaches with subpar performances. He replaced the entire offensive staff when to took the job but retained his defensive coaches (Simpson left on his own to return to the NFL).
If we see the same breakdowns throughout the season is Manny going to make excuses? Or will he admit changes in the staff may be needed? Is he too tied to ‘his guys’?
This will be key in evaluating Miami, and Manny's future.
I’m already thinking of next offseason. Sad.
