Im 95% sure the Martell decison has already been made. Manny being Manny, a politician that is; just hasnt made it public, and probably wont until aug 23rd.

First off the NCAA is a joke and the way they handle things, decisions seem to be inconsistent and normally you don't know what to expect.
My GUESS is the NCAA already informed Martell and Miami and Martell and his lawyer immediately on the spot filed an appeal on the decision , thus creating the delay. Maybe even an immediate lawsuit was filed.
The NCAA announced nothing as its under appeal or even a lawsuit and Martell and Miami has leaked nothing. Too many crickets right now and this is taking way longer than normal. Just a thought, this is complete BS.

When has the NCAA ever done Miami a favor? They'll take their sweet *** time on this the same way they did the bogus investigation from a few years back. We were hit with sanctions then but most damaging was the amount of time passed with the uncertainty of what the punishment was going to be.

It's no surprise we are getting slow played again.
