Clemson starter out

CLEMSON, S.C. —Clemson wide receiver Charone Peake is out for the rest of the year, according to Clemson Sports Information Director Tim Bourret.

Bourret tweeted the information about the injury just after 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Bourret's tweet: "Charone Peake torn ACL in practice Monday. Out for the year. (Adam Humphries) moves to starting position."

The anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) is one of the four major ligaments of the knee.

Sucks. That kid was a 5 star from NC if I recall. Should see a lot of Sammy Watkins targets this year for them. Clemson and FSU will be a very interesting race to the finish in Atlantic. I don't see anybody in the ACC going undefeated.
