We have the dumbest collection of players and coaches.

You couldn't script a worse performance. Sure there was some nice "effort" stuff from a few guys, but that's just cope talking.

This was worse than simply getting blown out. We were trapped in the sunken place once Roche got flagged for being offsides.

I watched UVA move the ball almost at will against these guys last week and we couldn't muster first downs.

This was the gameplan our brain trust of coaches came up with on a ******* bye week. AGAIN.

I said in the main thread that Diaz really showed his *** tonight. No one expected us to win but I expected us to play disciplined football and do everything we could to not beat ourselves, but ultimately lose because TL and Etienne are just too good. That's fine and understandable, and shows Diaz is getting the team where it needs to be. The team looked completely unprepared. I do not know how Diaz can explain this happening after every bye.

Stop. Clemson is a better team. Lashlee and King had a bad night. Baker is Baker... but Defense didn’t lose this game.

Officiating padded Clemson’s margin of victory by 10 points.

We should win out on the regular season schedule. I believe we will. If we don’t, then it’s time to post diarrhea gifs.

THIS. No one expected a win, we just wanted to play competitive football. We got out-coached completely (LOL at Lash vs. Venables), team look shook and undisciplined (13 penalties at Death Valley, LOL do you want to get embarrassed on national TV?), and soft as f*** (LOL at our WR's falling down looking for flags while Clemson DB's go up and make a play for the ball...)

I maintain that Clemson sleep-walked through that game last week.

They had Lawrence and Etienne in with 8 minutes to go, up 18 points, tonight. They also had Dabo trying to score a TD on the last play of the game.

They know we're on the verge of being relevant again.

This program is run on the cheap. Wins and loses are irrelevant. The powers to be have decided to maximize their profit margin’s As long as those ACC checks keep getting deposited into the university’s coffers what is the need to win football games.

manny has had 3 years to figure out how to stop a clemson qb from starting 15-15 against his D

There is such a thing as "learning to win." It doesn't just happen on game day. It means in the week up to the game, everyone is laser focused. They are operating like machines. Wake up, eat the right food, no one is cracking a smile, players are drilling into themselves to play disciplined and not give the opponent extra chances, they are executing perfectly in practice, getting plenty of rest and doing it over and over again until gameday. Then, if you do everything right, on game day you are "in the zone" and time slows down.

What really bothers me isn't that Miami didn’t win, it's that it looked like they prepared as if they were getting ready to play Georgia Tech.

Offensively, yeah - it was.

King was inaccurate even when he had time.

Lashlee’s play-calling was... questionable, at best.

But Clemson is really good. Let’s see what happens then next few weeks.

The defense was not nearly as bad as the scoreboard looks. The offense was atrocious. But I have way more faith in Lashlee than Baker. So that’s actually a positive.
