CJ Daniels Is Not Hurt

Still think we’re missing the guy but really solid unit.
sure, having a Jeremiah smith would be excellent but our current WR group is not a detriment and they proved against ND (the best secondary they'll play) that they can be a net strength

certainly they are solid enough to laugh at the fact that it was the whole talking point for 6 months about how we were screwed at WR

I seen a bunch of WRs that had big rep go else where and they are playing like ****. I want our guys to step up and show they have talent and they can play. I like our Unit for a upside standpoint more than last year's unit.

Dawson is underrated in terms of his play creativity. Many wanna give last year success to Cam Ward, 5th round pick before he came here. But we also had #31 offense with TVD throwing picks for fun.

Dawson does a good job of clearing out the space for the WRs, its on them to catch the ball since Beck will get it to them.

I’m looking at all his catches being contested. Toney gets open but outside of that, we don’t have a ton of separation. (I’m sure the scheme doesn’t help)
It’s easier to get separation out of the slot vs lining up outside. But to be honest, CJ has had a handful of short/medium routes where he’s earned space.
He’s surprised me with his ability to get in and out of his breaks.

When we push the ball vertical it’s different, he doesn’t have elite speed but makes up for that down the field with catch radius and physicality.

C.J. doesn't seem to get alot of seperation but so far Beck has shown the ability and confidence to put the ball up where C.J. can snatch it. Toney is sneaky quick out of his cuts.

The one hander was only contested because the rush got there but he fried Moore on the stick and nod.
