You’re ignoring the point. “He’ll play in the NFL” is not a rebuttal to people not wanting him as the quarterback of their college team. Tons of the best college quarterbacks are not good NFL quarterbacks.

*signs to a team as a udfa
*gets cut
*assigned to a team practice squad
*gets shipped around


*5 yrs later.......
*Called up from Practice squad by Dolphins as an emergency QB.

*1 yr later, throws a 15yrd td pass........ in a pre season game

*Dmoney - "I absolutely told you guys he'll play in the NFL"

Are you sure about the low-pressure thingie? If anything, being in an NFL city, he will be under the microscope. Look at Jacory Harris when he played at UM. Although I think Bailey has more tools and, in fairness, he is only in his second year.

He’s plan C kid for me… he would need to come cheap. Not ward or beck money not even close

Was not impressed again this game… he takes too many sacks thinking he’s still at chaminade and JS or Jojo are gonna get open

CJ Bailey is not good. Watched him two games in a row and he's not better than what we have on the roster right now. NC State is a good place for him.

Do you think we could’ve competed for a championship or be successful with our current rooster QB included
 
I’m old enough to remember when CIS said Will Howard & Cam Ward were 1a/1b because Cam had turnover issues at WSU..Quite a number of posters said that we should just
take Howard cause Cam was “playing games” and “taking too long” you gotta take QB evals with a grain of salt on here lol ..

I personally think he’s good but not great, being on NC State doesn’t do him any favors..he’s a guy you pivot to if your first option stays or goes elsewhere

You say like some of those people aren’t the ones that think we’d be fine with Bailey.

I’m really wanting to give him a pass because he doesn’t have much besides a decent 1-2 punch at RB (that we absolutely shut down btw) when Conception left…

But man he holds on to the ball way too long and can have stretches of erratic throws… if he’s willing to be our 3rd or 4th option and come cheap sure why not if you don’t think nickel is ready

Nickel is trash, you ever seen his throwing motion .. guy needs serious work and Miami is not longer in the business in grooming QB’s they need to come ready to play and compete

He is slow processing and is inaccurate - don't give me 72% comp BS either b/c he threw **** balls tonight that resulted in 0 YAC
