How the F do I turn closed captioning off? I can't find it anywhere.

I am doing a test run for CFB on my laptop and I can't get them to go away. Using Safari.

Click the off icon on the close captioning.

Thanks lol. Via Spectrum. Was so weird. There was no CC icon to click like you normally see, and it wasn't populating in settings. I'm no IT guy, but I've been around the digital block. I checked 100 times. But I somehow got them off, no even sure how. All set. Erase thread.
