When you lose the first game of the season, porsters gonna porst.

1. We are not ranked.
2. The gator is ranked as the 8th team in the nation.
3. Our defense played lights out under bad field position conditions.
4. Jarren Williams did not lose the game and contributed under immense pressure, he will be great.
5. We made Franks look like dog ****.
6. Rough when our NFL quality receiver muffs a punt and drops passes, BUT no one is perfect and he WILL be a factor for us to win the Coastal. And our place kicker misses a chip shot. Baxa missed the same FG in the spring scrimmage so I wonder if he over compensated?
7. For a first game as HC Manny had the team ready and poised for a victory as did Enos, and THEY deserved a win, put the loss on the few stupid mistakes that should not happen like the taunting call, muff and missed FG.
8. Our two freshmen tackles had some good moments and WILL improve rapidly. The gator does have a decent defensive unit and we got what should have been expected, a game we should've won.
9. The officials sucked (as expected since I asked all week what conference they would be from and still don't know). They sucked for both teams.
10. I don't recall a reversal of a pass interference call by an official right next to the play and overrode by officials far away. I have not reviewed the DVR yet since I came here and see such nonsense about Manny and Enos that is undeserved. If you consider the Canes as your team applaud the effort and move on. Those disappointed in Manny and Dan need to realize we could've still had Mark Richt and Junior without Manny's defense. So STFU or get off your high horse and move on.

We are going to be really good the rest of the season and our kids played with passion and effort and do not deserve ridiculous criticism BUT do deserve our support.
Oh, it also seemed that every time momentum was swinging to our team, there was long delays by the officials not TV timeouts.

Also, the fake punt by Mullen was gutsy and worked, without that one play we win the game but they deserve credit. If it failed, we get the field position we needed and they don't get the early TD.

I agree totally with you! *****ing about this team and a lot of first time starters is fool hearted. And I echo your thoughts on the officiating. This is what I said in another thread on that regards!

When was the last time you've seen a ref pickup a flag on an interference call especially in the endzone with time running out? I've never seen it!! And when will the ACC Officiating Committee begin to question these other Officiating crews that protect teams in the SEC with questionable calls that just about always protect their bell cow of the league??

This sh#$T aint no coincidence to always favor the Bama's, Georgia's and the other Top SEC teams?!! Flags being picked up conveniently at pivotal points of a game.

It's time these refs get called out!!

We need professional referees that get reviewed,trained ,and fired if they prove to be ineffective.The referees at the college level our hacks compared to the NFL referees.There should be NCAA refs not conference ones that have their biases .College football is a billion dollar business where games can not be refereed by part time amateurs to be fair to the fans,players,and coaches.

As an athlete you don't make excuses, you identify the problem and fix it. Jarrens decision making along with the inability of the line to protect absolutely lost the game for us

As an athlete you don't make excuses, you identify the problem and fix it. Jarrens decision making along with the inability of the line to protect absolutely lost the game for us

and continuing to force PA also didnt help any of those two units out either. coaching, QB, OL, along with poor tackling, JT, and penalties led to that result.

No one seems to remember Baxa had to kick that FG within a minute of when his tiny *** ran for his life on the fake, got the 1st, AND got hit with a cheap shot out of bounds. That affected his kick. For sure.
