Ran across that dude in Gainesville one time. Total ****. He was at a bar with Rex Grossman when Rex was the starter. He pulled the whole don't you know who I am thing on a group of Canes I was with.
Then got shuttle out by his posse like they knew he was about to get his *** whooped.

This seems like 2013 to me. We were like double-digit home dogs and still won. We own the Gators. It's factual. We live in their heads rent-free. Nothing they say or do will make me think otherwise.

In all sincerity, a really good white dude on the gayters, is elevated to a status of a real superstar. They truly embrace and desire their best players be white. I mean in a supreme manner. They parade around those ignorant brother players like trained dogs feeding them a party and free drinks.

what was rex like? seemed to be a down to earth guy from his time in the nfl

Of course they are confident, they were confident the last 8 games we played them and they lost 7. When we smash them in the mouth that confidence dwindles quickly. The :11263272045-489f4f7972-o: wins this one too! 8 out of 9 bank on it!
I think we win 9 outta 10 games we play them
or maybe 11 of 12?

couldn't resist man....

In all seriousness, fug the gate and I think we curb stomp the **** out of these bytches. The media coverage will be the same as our last win vs these bytches. Yall remember? "the gates let the game get away from them"....NOT "Miami came out and punched them in the fuggin mouth and slugged out a hard fought win". that SEC bias continues even in the loss column. Lets give these ******* a "Quality Loss" on August 24!!!
Go CANES!!!

Rex played for Florida, but he was never an elitist Gator type. I know some guys who grew up in Bloomington in that era and knew him / crossed paths with him / knock down beers with him. Said he was a total down to earth guy (even when playing for UF and back home in Indiana for summers or breaks.) Ultimately went to Florida to get coached by and to learn from Spurrier (showing up three years after Danny Wuerffel won the Heisman and when highly-touted Brock Berlin went there, as well.)

Ahh, c'mon. That was an ugly-as-**** game and Florida turned out to be a garbage 4-8 team that year—losing their final seven in a row. Vanderbilt beat the Gators in the Swamp by two touchdown—and Georgia Southern upset them at home that year, 26-20.

That crap Florida team racked up 413 total yards against Golden's and Dorito's swiss cheese defense—while holding the Canes to 50 yards on the ground and 162 passing yards.

Jeff Driskel was a huge liability for them with two interceptions and Florida turned it over five times—four in the red zone.

All that to say, yes—that defense put a hat on Matt Jones early, forced a fumble and scored quick—Morris to Waters—but that was an ugly outing for Miami after a quick 14-3 start. Lowest yardage total since a 10-7 win over West Virginia in 1996 (re: Tremain Mack blocked punt, Nate Brooks touchdown run-in.)

I don't care if Miami beats Florida 2-0 and the media says those pukes gift-wrapped it. At day's end, beat the Gator—Miami's oldest and most-hated rival. Beat them pretty, beat them ugly—but just win.

Rex was wasted out of his mind. No clue what he was like. I lived in Gainesville for 4 years(for work not school.) in my 4 years there I saw Rex about 15-20 times loaded every time. It’s good to be QB1.

Rex should have won the heisman his sophomore year in all honesty. I hate the Gators but that was his year.
