"I thought it was a real good game. I thought the defense played really good and the offense executed really good," Kennon said. "The energy around the field, I love the Miami energy," Kennon added of his experience.

The Hurricanes have been coming after the Sunshine State's No. 6 ranked player hard over the past few months. Chevis Jackson and Lance Guidry have Miami firmly in the mix of things. "They show lots of love. We communicate throughout every day," Kennon said.

The 6-foot-2, 170-pounder has some national suitors in pursuit alongside Miami, but the Hurricanes are one he's strongly considering early on in his process. "It's definitely an option. Florida football is fast and tough and it's competition and it's ACC," Kennon said.

Kenon also likes that Miami is willing to play true freshmen early. OJ Frederique has emerged as one of the conference's premier cornerbacks as a first-year player.

Georgia, Florida State, Florida, Michigan, and Ole Miss are a few others who have done a good job of recruiting Kenon at this stage of the process. He appears to be done with fall visits at this point but hopes to see Miami again in the spring, as well as Florida State and Georgia.

As a junior, the two-way player caught eight passes for 221 yards (27.6 yards per catch) and five touchdowns on offense, adding 11 pass breakups and a forced fumble on defense.
