We really need to appreciate Chantz & Jalen. These were 2 guys that we were on early and they showed a lot of early interest. Then a lot of the bigtime bag schools emerged later on and we seemed to fall to the background. They went through the process, visited places, and seemed to be succumbing to the allure, then as they focus in on making their decisions, they came back to their original rooted interest and love for the Canes. That sh*t is rare.

How many times have we seen this same exact trajectory without the kids coming back to the U in the end? Sadly, it seems less common with those recruits located in South Florida.

Facts, I thought back earlier in the year February/March that both of these guys were long gone from coming to Miami

Jalen Rivers is a very mature, well grounded kid. He knew his education was important and made that aspect of his recruitment a priority.

I think Williams also came around to that idea but it took him a little longer.

Thankfully both kids have strong family support systems.
