Regardless of what you think of him as a player, no benefit at all to the team if he were to leave early.

LOL at the growing list of morons hoping for Kaaya to leave. Probably the same retards who couldn't wait for Dorsey to leave so Berlin could take over. There were plenty of idiots who were happy when Dorsey left.

Would he even want to comeback? Yeah he isn't ready but a lot of fans hate him because he is not mobile and other things( not all his fault imo but whatever) the coaches while they have praised him don't seem to fond of his decision making recently. The offense is clearly not inducive to his skill set imo. Not to mention that biggest reason not to come back is that offensive line. How many times have we seen him get pressured and the oline get beat terribly even when then the dline only rushed 2-3 lineman...With that being said I know kaaya feels terrible the season has played out the way it has and he's a good kid. I hope he comes back and really work on being more mobile, it will help him in the long run. And let's face it the kid has a good arm. If you have been watching the last 2 games kaaya has displayed plenty of arm talent and was throwing some dimes against notre dame. Also was consistently converted 3rd downs on big time throws after the 1st quarter. Kaaya has regressed in the aspect of getting the ball out and not taking the sack . At times looks scared back there and none of this was happening the first 2 years at Miami which is why it's confusing but you clearly can see he doesn't trust that oline and I don't blame him. On some of the sacks he probably can the ball out but on a bunch of them those dlineman are right there as soon as he gets ready throw which gives the play no chance.

Not sure how you were negged for this. People seem to always think the backups that never stepped up to even sniff Kaaya's sack for any playing time, could somehow do any better. For ***s sake how can you explain Rosier being any upgrade after there was never a QB competition and he was being regarded as a potential transfer candidate because nobody thought he'd even win the back up job over a walk on and a guy that's average stat line in scrimmage and intrasquad was about 2-6 for 5 yards in Shiereffs.

People gotta be careful what they wish for. Look at Matt Ryan, learned a new system in 2015, played like dog ****, people wanted him traded. He's settled in in 2016 and is arguably the MVP at this point in the season. Nobody on this board knows why we suck or has the solution other than recruiting better.

I'm pretty sure people are blowing the coaches comments out of the water. Brad knows he hasn't done what he was supposed to do, just like the coaches do. You act like they're at each others throats. It's called being held accountable and being a part of big boy football. It's not everyone should be congratulated by the coaches regardless of performance. The play of these kids effects the livelihood of the coaches, of course they'll be hard on them. No more being babied. You were avidly supporting Hillary on here though, so I'm sure you expect to be congratulated for nothing and are all for participation trophies.

I'm also sure that Kaaya gives zero ***** what a bunch of never have beens on a message board are saying about his mobility.

Kaaya is not going to get better next year. He is what he is; a mentally weak pocket passer with no mobility. I don't give a f*ck if the next QB isn't as good as Kaaya(which would be an accomplishment). I am completely through with Kaaya. It's time for him to leave.

That's an incredibly stupid position. You state that you don't care if the next QB isn't as good as Kaaya, yet you still want him to leave?

The reason you dislike Kaaya is because he has not been good enough to win us games we should have won, if you replace him with someone worse, we will lose even more games...and then you'll hate the new guy for that same reason and want him to leave.

Anyone who is being rational about this should want him to come back. If Jack or N'Kosi end up being better than him next year than he will lose his spot. I want the best QB on the roster to start, regardless of who it is. if Kaaya leaves early it does not help this program. We need more competition for spots not less.

We have a really special needs fanbase that's for **** sure.

I still think Kaaya is the best option for us at QB this year and next year (Perry is good but he is going to need time to learn and adjust). My hope is that in the offseason Kaaya works with a QB coach on his mobility within the pocket and getting the ball out quickly (or when to throw it away).

You don't need to be a "mobile" quarterback to be successful in this offense - you just need to be able have pocket awareness and mobility within the pocket. Look at Brady's speed/athleticism - slow as molasses but knows how to move up and around in the pocket to but an extra half second (not comparing Kaaya to Brady in any aspect expect for "speed")

Wow man chill lol, I was just saying richt and brown both commented multiple times the last few weeks that he has to get the ball out faster as well as brown saying the leadership is lacking on O a little bit. Other than kaaya who else is a leader on O? The lineman can't lead for sh*t. you would think coley would but who knows

A mentally weak pocket passer. Lmao no he's just immobile pocket passer and everyone hates him for it because all of the appreciation or the blame ALWAYS goes to the QB. If you give Kaaya a chance to throw he picks the other team apart. Im done with this OL more than Brad. It's not Brads job to run around the pocket and avoid pressure, if you can great, if not ok. That's not supposed to be how it is.

However, the job of the OL is to pass protect and keep the QB upright long enough to go through an ordinary progression. Michigans QB is just as immobile as Kaaya and isn't as good of an arm talent but his WRs catch the ball and they have a **** good OL. Also, Harbaugh knows how to scheme around teams that are bringing pressure to play to the QBs strength. If Brad was at Michigan, he would be their starting QB, be 8-0 and about to be one of the first 2 QBs taken in the draft.

I'd rather he returned next season but on the condition that he'd have to EARN the job.

Exactly how it should be. This is literally the only rational way to look at the situation. There is no way anyone can argue that Brad coming back is bad for the team in any way. Unless he's a cancer in the lockerroom.
