Toledo winning the MAC and finally getting into the Top 25 could help us out with our playoff seeding.

While I agree it helps us, the 1st and 4th place teams play in N.O., the other two in L.A. I would assume we would prefer N.O.

I think it depends more about matchup than location.

I think we're going to end up as #3 if we win today unless Wisky and Oklahoma both win.

Is that how it works? SO if UGA Miami end up 2/3 and Oklahoma Ohio St end up 1/4 we still end up in LA?

#1 gets the closest game to their campus and then it trickles down from there.

So basically who ever is #1 is going to NO.

That is my understanding, and L.A. is furthest away from any of the teams with a chance to go to the CFP.

Unless USC somehow magically climbs to #1 , the closet team to the Rose Bowl is Oklahoma and they're still 1,300 miles away from Pasadena.
