This defense is not as good as last. Joe Jackson and Gerald Willis vs Scott Patchen and Jon Ford. lolz

Also Jaquan would not have missed the tackles Hall did..

They are good but not elite. Did an AMAZING job against the run today and, but for that **** TD drive late, held up pretty well against the pass. The turnovers were great and kept us in the game early, but no game changers in the front 7 (at least based on this game).

Timely turnovers and being able to consistently stop the offense is impressive

The defense is good but the pressure wasn’t what I expected. Some of that is likely accounting for Florida’s scheme but I genuinely expected Ford, Hill, and Garvin to abuse guys on multiple plays and it rarely happened. It just goes to show that playing a bunch of juniors and seniors on the offensive line can do wonders for having a base level standard for blocking and knowing the offense .
