Yeah Week 5 isn't over, but besides Miami, who have we seen that looks like a team that could win it all? Taint, Penn State, Georgia, **** the whole SEC looks pedestrian right now. If not us then who?

Yeah yeah ask again in November but man, as a "we'll go 9-3" guy back in Spring I'm starting to get cautiously optimistic. And yes I know -

Add Vandy to the list, unlikely but they play hard af. A&M probably in the convo. ND gets better as the year goes on. They put up 42 in the first half.

Oregon is the only team that moderately scares me, of course pending their game aganist Penn State.

Everyone else of the pre-season contenders - Ohio State, UGA, Texas, LSU, Penn State, Bama - have been mid as ****.

I know they haven't played anyone and tonight will tell us a lot, but Oregon is the only other championship level team besides Miami.

Still a long season and things can change quickly, but Miami and Oregon are the top two teams so far

Commentators in the first half told me fspoo was a natty contender

But honestly I think taint Oregon and honestly I don’t trust us yet. ACC schedule has done us in

We’ll see what Oregon looks like against a real team today
I could say the same thing about Penn State. They’ve been completely ******* unimpressive playing the Catholic high school division.

Tier 1

Miami
Oregon/PSU winner (possibly both if it's a close game and they both play well).

Tier 2

Ole Miss
A&M
OSU (would move them up to T1 if they start regularly throwing the ball downfield to their WR)

Tier 3

UGA (would move up to T2 if they play well against Bama and show they can pass block)
Okie
ND
TTU (why not lol)

I think OSU looks elite but beatable. Going into UW and controlling the game like they have done isn't easy or something to scoff at.

ND is legit and we handled them (could have blown them out).

Texas 8-4 looks good but they have no chance of winning out IMO.

LSU is a massive pretender--Ole Miss is no world beater either.

Guess we will see about Uga, Penn State, and Oregon shortly.

Gun to my head I got the following for a top 8

Miami
OSU
Oregon
Georgia
Penn State
TAMU
Notre Dame
Georgia Tech

With Ole Miss peaking to see what the party is all about.

That's not 1 to 8

Just who I think makes the most sense right now.
