Wow the reporter couldn't even ask someone what the name of the "small tuba" that Chad was playing, which is called the Euphonium. Hard work at its finest.

If Thomas has a full music scholly to UM, why can't he be a walk on to the football team and open up the scholarship for another DT? Frost would be paying his education.

They closed that loophole a while ago. First snap he plays he is on football scholly

I doubt UM hands out many full rides for music. Football will pay for food and housing plus other benefits like 40 bucks a day during spring break.

Can he get paid for his music on the side or would that be an NCAA violation?
 
Actually UM does offer a lot of scholarship for music, especially compared to other music schools. But the football program has considerably more money so I'm sure that's why they are footing the bill.
 
Get him in an S&C program, and that kid will be a beast in 2-3 years. We have some DEs on our team.
