Think about what’s about to start happening....
CFB is going to become a full-on financially driven business at all levels.
Which means that Universities that want to make max profits their football programs will need to run it that way.
That means every coaching hire will now be about “return of $ on investments”
Yes every school will be doing it, but now Miami’s President and BOT will need to think about how to get the Canes back into the top 20 if they want to make money.
Recruits will also not go to any school that doesn’t prioritize making money and maxing the players “brand value” which is part of their career path.
Recruits will no longer give a Sh*T about the schools history or rep— it will be come ALL ABOUT HOW MUCH CAN THE SCHOOL MAKE THEM....
PERIOD.
UM has the money to spend Saban kind of money— but they’ve been coasting on the 2001 Mystique for 18yrs because it’s been ALL profit at minimal expenses for UM.
But the new “pay for play” world is going to change everything.
It’s the only hope Miami has left to claw back to the top....
