Why does this kid not have a committable offer? Has said he would commit if he got an offer, and the kid can play. 4* on all websites and is just a flies to ball at the safety position..Only reason I can see is maybe his size, but still...

I'm probably in the minority in saying that I'm not that big of a fan of Wright. Granted his highlight tape is impressive, but he's only 5'9 and he doesn't have the ability to play corner or nickel.

Talked to some people who have seen him live and they tell me he isnt all that impressive, i wasnt too impressed with his tape

Can't the same thing be said about Tim Irvin? I assume you're not a fan of him either?

The difference is Tim has the athletic ability to be a All American corner. Tim is the type of player that can be a 1st rounder at any position in the secondary

Irvin has more fluid hips, better in coverage and can impact the special teams. It's not that I think Wright isn't good, just not as talented as advertised

Disagree, Irvin is not a good fit at corner, he has one of the best highlight tapes Ive seen in the 15 class at safety but he was exposed when he had to play corner at camps. He also elected to play RB at some camps rather than corner, but he is one good **** safety though. I would say Khalid Mcgee fits the corner safety spot better than Irvin, he's a track runner and he also attacks the ball in the air, but Irvin is the overall better safety and all around prospect in general. As far as Wright not being offered yet that is a huge mistake, if a top talent wants in let him ball, from a coaches standpoint why in the **** would I care about size if a player produces and helps to win games.

Tim would be a great nickle corner along with being a good safety, he would fit well here because we like to play our safetys at nickle a lot

Tim will be the best punt returner in the country - NEXT YEAR! (just hope golden don't take him off st after his second year- that is if we get this young man to commit.ha)

Is he a take in your opinion or more of a Option B?

Tim is a **** of a return man on punts. Also he will fit that honey badger nickel/safety role right to the tee. Love his versatility. Always around the ball too.

As for Wright. I am a fan of his play. Might be a tad short at 5'9"-5'10". But when a kid can ball, he can ball that's what I always say. He's stood out to me since he was a freshman at Homestead.

Heady, aggressive player. Loves to lay the wood. He just makes plays. Doesn't have the versatility that Tim has, cause Tim can play Safety and nickel. But Wright a **** of a safety.

About 185-190 right now. He will have size. Maybe not in height but strength and weight he will.

As for the offer, it's still very early for that 2016 process, it will come.

With Baez here. Mullins, Jackson, Wright and then Burns from 2017 will all be Canes in the future and don The U in due time.

According to an article on CS he had 27 tackles in the last game.. 27.. That's insane. He also had 17 in a game earlier in the year.

Either he has a nose for the ball or Gulliver just has no one else
