Carter was a recruiting win for us, but he is a dinosaur. His game simply does not translate to how offenses now operate and he shows a lack of awareness or discipline. There is no reason to bash the kid; you just have to understand what he brings to the table.

He's clearly scared to hit now, its obvious the last 2 games.

He missed a open field tackle. It happens. I’ve not seen a instance where he’s been hesitant to hit yet. And I hope the coaches understood that the last targeting he got vs UVA was just a bang bang situation where a 5”8 WR lowered his own head into the strike zone. I also hope he’s not reading our dumb *** fans tweets and messages boards. Kid just needs to keep playing
