Opening drive of 3rd quarter. 4th and 4 from UF 39. We chose to surrender punt and it was a touchback for a net punt of 19 yards. Should have went for the 4th down conversion. But also not going for the FG likely is a signal coaches view it as about a 55 limit maybe.

Gotta keep track of this. With how ******* ultra conservative we are playing on offense, it's gunna be worth tracking Mario 4th down decisions this year. Can already feel we are being super conservative about when to go for it and not.

We punted 4 times. Three of them were inside UFs 50, which you never really want to do.

- First Punt was 4th and 5 From the UF 41... Well Technically we had a delay of game before punting so 4th and 10 from UF 46.

So analytics is toss up with slightest of slightest leans toward punting. This is a decision I probably would have considered going...

unfortunately it hasn't been the case first three games. obviously against ND we missed a FG because of it. it didn't get any better v BC or USF.

I had no problem with playing the field position game with our defense playing the way it was. By punting in those situations last night , you keep the negative momentum swing at bay if you miss a long field goal or get stuffed on 4th and long.

I know we had one punt end up dying inside the 10 and 2 others that we’re a **** hair away from pinned inside the 5.
