Can't wait for James Coley to leave. He Sucks!

Walton picked up like 50 yards on 2 plays out the I formation. Then miraculously we line back up in the shotgun and proceed to lose yards in the running game.

Defense is still the bigger problem.

And, somehow, Malik Rosier played very well.

I didn't say we should keep him, but c'mon

Coley can find and coach QBs. He did a good job getting Rozier to play at a high level in a week. I would keep Coley as QB coach and recruiter.

Funny when we lined up in the I formation we had success. I don't understand using a spread shotgun offense when the qb never runs the ball.

The offense is just as big a problem when you consider the talent he's had to work with since he started here and just how much his units have underachieved, especially against the better opponents.

Coley is the offensive version of D'Onfrio. Period. They are both walking abominations in regards to what they do for a living.

He wants to call plays...it's the reason he left FSU in the first place.

Which is ironic, on all sorts of levels.

Two possible scenarios that Coley would be kept...1. Cristobal hired. 2. Offensive Coach hired.
I can deal with the second scenario because in that scenario most likely he would be relieved of play calling, just like when he was under Jimbo. Would pretty much just be a QB coach and recruiter with the title of OC.

Really? Cmon now. He recruits **** of a lot better than DOnfrio. If not for Coley there's no Kaaya and Yearby would be at USF.

Coley has utilized his playmakers pretty well IMO while DOnfrio just keeps Chad Thomas and Quan back etc.

Coley was dealt Rosier this game and called a good game for Rosier to succeed scoring 24 points. This would have been the perfect excuse for Coley to stink it up vs. a ranked Duke defense and a redshirt freshman QB in his first start on the road WITH all of the distractions this week.

Just my opinion...Should Coley go at the end of the season? Yes if our HC can bring in a qualified OC but if not, I'd be find with him having an extra year (especially with Kaaya since Kaaya may be gone after his Junior year to NFL). Also can add the rumors how Golden "controlled" Coley's play calling..

Is this post for real?

Yes really. He's every bit as bad at what he does for a living as D'Onfrio is.

James Coley's job title and description read "OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR".....NOT....."RECRUITING COORDINATOR".

It doesn't matter how well James Coley the recruiter, recruits. James Coley the Offensive Coordinator doesn't have a **** clue how to use them correctly. He's hands down the worst play caller we've ever had here. Period.

Just played a top 20 D with a backup qb in his first start and did well. I thought Coley called a good game until the last drive when we just kinda gave it back to them without attempting to get a first down.

And that drive sums up his tenure here. Any coordinator at this level can have a good half here or there. For the love of God last years Miami team lost 7 games and still beat this same Duke team.

The sample size tells you everything you need to know about James Coley. He's an incompetent play caller.
