But man...... It was one after another yesterday. The pass interference that was never called, the fumble that was reversed, and the most egregious..... the late hit that if not called would have ended the game. Really difficult to not be sour on the refs. They really put it on us yesterday. Frustrating.

It is a little bit of everything. But there are ***ups under your control that you can avoid so that you don't have to worry about times officials ***** us.
 
Dude, that game was 100% on Miami. The refs didn't stop Miami from not being able to convert multiple 4th downs. They didn't bobble that pass that was an INT. They didn't kick a punt into the end zone. They didn't call our s*** plays. Miami lost this to the point that the team should be investigated for gambling against themselves.

That SMU team from yesterday was absolute dog s***. And we lost to them.

The title says can't blame the officials so not sure what the point of your post was.

Of course it should have never been in the position to have calls effect the W/L but we played like *** (again) AND the officials no lube'd us

That was exactly my point. We played like **** but the officials no lube'd us!

I am not going to 2nd guess that particular decision. Can’t pick up a 4th and 1 to ice the game, you don’t deserve to win.

I will 2nd guess the play call, however. Instead of making it obvious you are running up the centers ***, how about spreading putting 4 WRs in the game, and putting Toney in motion where the defense thinks it is going to be a handoff around the edge in the opposite direction of where the ball is going. Just need to freeze the defense for a split second to get the advantage. Then run it behind your best OL. Use a little strategery.
 
the only miss call that you listed was PI and even still if they call it it was offsetting penalties and the ball is still at the 40 3rd and whatever it was.

If the late hit was not called, it wouldn't have ended the game (no change of possession) , but it would have been 4th and 9 for SMU.
