Those Miami and Wide Right teams were really something. I was watching Bama v LSU this weekend and watch those two defenses reminded me of those great games back in the day. The thing that really stuck out though was that while today's Bama and LSU have defenses somewhere near our old great ones, the Cane and Nole offenses were in a completely different class from the sec big boys. Either FSU or Miami would have destroyed today's SEC teams. It would not be a contest. Miami in particular had complete teams that were virtual NFL level. Lord, I miss our old teams.

You know it's true. Everyone knows it's true. It's not the Paterno way. A Ridge Riley Award winner would NEVER condone such behavior. As if Al Golden has ANY love for our history. Remember, we beat HIS PedState team, his senior year, likely keeping them from winning a national championship that year. And all you blind Golden Girls continue to defend him. It's just a career for him. There is NO love for our history with him. NONE.

Who are you referring to? I think he should be fired. Just wondering where you came up with that, and it was clearly based on nothing factual.
