Canes vs Notre Dame Preview and Prediction

Beating Notre Dame over a period of three or so hours is much more satisfying than three or so hours of hot ***.

Because the Notre Dame afterglow - lasts for YEARS.

Notre Dame is a good, tough football team. But they are not elite, don’t let that championship game score fool yall, it was not as close as the score suggested. Teams that have a good offense were able to effectively put up points against them USC, Louisville. They shined when they played teams with sub-par to bad qb play…Penn State, and even UGA, whose offense was terrible and significantly worse without Beck. The best CFB teams last season were Oregon and Ohio State, ND was not on their level.

Now, it’s a new season, so whats changed. Think their defense with a new DC will be about the same and I have full confidence in UM’s offense. This means will be able to put up points on NDs offense. How will NDs offense be with their new qb and how much does UM’s defense improve? Though I’m confidence UM can put 30+ on NDs defense can we stop them from putting 30+ on us. I’m leaning yes, 3 reasons. It’s Carr first start, I’m confident in our secondary personnel, and both run games cancel each other out.

Canes 31-24. If Carr ***** the bed 38-17.

Ian Book was a redshirt sophomore with some experience at the college level but no notable road start in 2017.

Notre Dame has CJ Carr who has never taken a snap at the college level going against a sixth year QB in Carson Beck who is a 24-3 SEC champion and led his team to the playoffs last year. He has played in countless high profile , high pressure games.

Miami has a a MASSIVE advantage at the most important position and will have a rabid crowd behind them.
