### UM is among several schools that reached out last week to quarterback Jake Rodrigues, who is transferring from Oregon after attempting just six passes there. A California native, Rodrigues was rated Rivals.com’s fifth-best pro style quarterback in the 2012 class. He has two years of eligibility left but must sit out this year. Michigan and San Diego State are among others that have inquired.

Rodrigues reportedly prefers a school with a senior starter, allowing him to come in and play in 2015. Here, though, he would need to beat out Kevin Olsen and Brad Kaaya, among others, in 2015.

I knw coming out of high school Miami was one of his first offers from Jeff Fisch...I guess Marcus Mariotta returning had a lot to do with it....would be a good addition, what do u guys think???

kind of ****** but this made me realize in my heart of hearts, I've completely lost faith in Olsen. i know that I don't matter but still, I don't even think about him when factoring the future, which is crazy because its entirely possible hes a 4 year starter.

You don't have confidence in this guy, but he has grown alot this spring just from watching the two interviews. What does concern me is that he thinks the job is his now and feels no threat from Kaaya which is huge mistake on his part. That said I hope he spends sometime this summer with QB guru George Whitefield, the guy has done wonders with some other players.

At the dates of the vids why would he be concern about Kaaya when he's not even enrolled at school. when Williams was healthy Olsen was talking about being the starter.

Olsen has moxy. Of course hes not gonna be concerned of other qbs. What starting caliber qb would you want on your team thats gonna be afraid of the next guy? Lol at everyone doubting him
