On my phone so I can't link it but the media does not believe we are very good in baseball. They picked us to finish 4 in costal and NC St. to win it all.

FIRE JIM MORRIS

Can't believe he wasn't fired after last year's debacle of a regional

He sucks

The last few seasons have been painful as a long time season ticket holder. Scoring 3 runs a game in college baseball is the worst. It looks like it'll be more of the same this season.

First, i'm not a fair weather fan. Second, I love UM baseball. Third, I don't think I have unreasonable expectations.

But, in all honesty, between horrible defensive gaffs, baserunning blunders, terrible play in clutch situations...it's been a abysmal last couple of years. A couple series our play has been so damnably ugly that I've had to turn off games in sheer frustration.

So yeah, I wouldn't say that criticism of Morris is unfair at this point. At least Gino is back, so, there's that. Plus, there's a good mix of experience and young talent on this year's team. If they can keep from having the same lapses in play that have plagued previous squads, I think they can surprise a bit.

Key will be starting pitching however. Need B-Rad and Suarez to come off injury and pitch well, and Whaley to continue to improve.

I cannot bare another year of watching a little league defensive display. God, if anything improves at all, please let it be the fielding.

I agree that it's the consistently horrible fielding and base running that has been most frustrating the past few years. Seems to be getting worse every year since 2008. This year is make or break for JM as far as I'm concerned. Can't take another season of getting embarrassed by UF.

The ineptitude at things that should be fundamental is unbelievable. I'll add situational hitting to the list as well.

I agree with 7...the young talent mixed with serviceable vets could make for a team that's decent. I just cringe at the thought of those two things being paired with a lack of fundamentals, though.

Too many years of getting fake commitments from highschool kids that never had any intention of stepping foot on campus.
