Defense—Gerald Willis—This is what was missing from the Canes D since, oh, I don’t know, maybe since Wilfork turned pro.
Offense—Travis Homer—Dude may not be up there will the all-time greats at the position, but he gives it all he has. And considering the state of the offense, he didn’t have a lot of competition for this award. Just wish he hadn’t gotten hawked down on that run vs Virginia. If he housed it Miami probably would’ve won the game.
Surprise breakout player—Romeo Finley—dude made a difference at the striker position. Didn’t really see that one coming.
