Can Lashlee bring D’eriq King to the Gables?

I think this would be an incredible grad transfer pick up. King would thrive in this offense. Almost similar to Houston’s spread air raid with lots of quick reads and QB focused RPOs.

Can Lashlee convince him to come?

No clue, but if I'm a QB looking for a real chance to start, and want to play in a QB friendly system, I am taking a hard look at UM.

He's been in the portal since the beginning of the season but it sounds like LSU is in the driver's seat. Kendal Briles (coached him at Houston) is at Arkansas so they may get a look too.

I don’t think he is or ever was. He has stated publicly that he will stay with Houston.

I would assume ultimately NFL scouts will convince him he needs to play power5 football though to raise his draft stock
