He's saying the right things and he's the recruiting dynamo we thought that he was. Winning basketball games is a different animal though. He's coaching against experienced coaches.
Can he win? Sure. But i wouldn't bet the rent he's going to set the ACC on fire in year 1.
There could be a degree of fun watching a young coach grow as long as it doesn't take too long.
Middle of the pack. .500 in the ACC in year 1 would be pretty good I think.
I have to agree; a .500 record next year looks likely. While I'm excited about the players we've brought in, the current team resembles the last two years more overall IMO.
