Call me crazy but I think Diaz will be easily replaceable

don't get me wrong, he did a great job getting his guys coached up and motivated to play every Saturday

but i think we can easily find another creative defensive mind who knows how to use these speedy South Florida defenders in an attacking defense

I ABSOLUTELY DISAGREE with your opinion of the Orange and Green sort!

It just needs to be a 4-3 guy, I think what we saw with Diaz vs the old regime was the difference scheme makes for the type of athletes we get

Nothing with Richt is 'easy'. Should it be, yes, will it, probably not.

It's so cool to see the amount of amateur comedians we have here...you guys are an inspiration.

However, here in reality, Richt made it known on Day 1 of his tenure here that Miami would return to an attacking, 4-3 defense. He went and hired Diaz shortly thereafter. He hired Kool. He's replaced him with Simpson. He hired Dugans. He hired Hartley. He's made plenty of good moves. Just need to make another one here.

Everyone is replaceable. He will be missed, but he is 10000% replaceable.
This I agree with. Just like in any job everyone's replaceable. We just need the Richt that hired Diaz to make the decision instead of the Richt that wouldn't change up the offensive gameplan this year to make the decision. The first version of him had vision. People didn't like the Manny hire and now he's a head coach because of his time here. I don't care too much about liking the guy he hires as long as it turns out to be the right hire.

This message board is not reflective of Miami fans in general at all.

It's obvious that most of these libtard millennials have never played a down of football in their lives.

Replaceable yes......easy....not so much.
Do you go with experience, or a young gun that is out to prove himself on a high profile program?.
The opportunity just presented itself.........now we need to sit back and see the appointing.....should be fun.

Mark Richt said when he was hired even before getting Diaz that he intends to run an aggressive style 4-3 defense at Miami. We will be fine. It just sucks short term with big time players like Bogle and Stevenson who likely won’t pick Miami now.

I’m much less worried about the on field product, that can be replaced, he doesn’t do anything out of this world unique with formations and play calling. But we’re already behind in recruiting and this could pretty much put the kabash on this year without a quick solid hire, that worries me more.

I've been saying it, not that i or coach richt wanted to see manny go, but the one thing that's clear, coach richt does a great job at hiring coaches. I also like how he hires cause whoever is the next d-co, the way it seems to me howw coach richt hires is based on guys having job security, so no matter who the d-co is, he wont be able to come in and get rid of anyone just to bring his guys in, and our position coaches are are, particularly coach rumph, banda and simpson are elite.

And since coach richt is big on staff unity and bringing in the right fit, he hires the way UM mainly hired since the schnelly days, keep the assistants just bring in a coordinator. Not saying its going to happen but i wouldnt be surprised to see coach shannon come back home either. Whoever it is going to be, we'll be straight and coach richt will take his time!

There it is right there. Richt is a MORON! He is such an effective shyster that it wouldn't surprise me if he somehow convinced the administration that he himself could run both the O and the D!! LOL

We'll see what happens. This could be good. I still wish Richt the best and hope he manages to turn this thing around. It's possible that Diaz's exit creates momentum and frees up resources to for Richt to make some productive staffing changes. But my confidence in him doing so is like 1%. Even an idiot can win the lottery right??

I think your FUNCTIONALLY crazy as a bed bug! But I could be wrong, but I doubt it.

I think a lot of you will push this narrative in order to make yourselves feel better, but will get a big dose of reality come August-Sep/October of 2019.

But hey, at least there's a new excuse to make for the next 2 years, so that's good.

Was Manny Diaz a great defensive coordinator? Absolutely not. One of the greatest thing to happen to Manny was coaching with Coach Kool. Coach Kool actually calmed Manny down quite a bit. Kool stopped Manny from Blitzing so much.

Manny is easily Replaceable, but Richt will ***** it up.
