And he teamed it with a db coach with fl links who is evaluating low 2-3 star fla dbs with traits and getting them to commit.

They will be tough out continuously because he can get better prospects to live in Illinos than Wisky.

Maybe, but I'd much rather be in Madison that Urbana. One is a a great college town, where they LOVE their Badgers, and the other is Urbana.

The former is a **** of a lot more fun if you're a player.

Nah, living in Champaign is not much different than living in Iowa or Nebraska with a few more black people.

You also have to factor in culture and personal preference. Illinois pulls black students from Chicago and the St. Louis metro area, so a lot of athletes will feel more comfortable there. There is a reason Iowa basketball and football have way more white kids than just about any other school.

The enrolled student population at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, both undergraduate and graduate, is 41.3% White, 16.5% Asian, 11.3% Hispanic or Latino, 5.72% Black or African American, 2.99% Two or More Races, 0.0475% Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islanders, and 0.0342% American Indian or Alaska ...

The enrolled student population at University of Iowa, both undergraduate and graduate, is 72.2% White, 7.64% Hispanic or Latino, 4.83% Asian, 3.36% Two or More Races, 2.97% Black or African American, 0.393% American Indian or Alaska Native, and 0.066% Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islanders

Iowa is more white at the undergrad level, and less diverse in terms of "Asian" and "Hispanic". When you get down to Black or African American numbers, Illinois has a higher percentage (6% v. 3%), and that is a significant percentage difference when comparing the two, but not significant in terms of the total campus population or what you experience just walking around.

I add two more points to consider:

1. Are you likely to have more "perks" as a football player in Iowa City or Champaign? Where will you have more status/fun?
2. One is a college town; one is a city with a college. If you like Iowa City, you probably like Madison. If you like Champaign, you are closer to a Minnesota situation.
