NBD for me cause I'm mountain time but that's some bullsh*t. They never do this with east coat teams playing big games out west.

I am going to have to take a nap during the day and miss some games and get hopped on some coffee for the game.

Interesting Note the 10:30 pm game this past week pulled better numbers than the 7PM game on ESPN (ours) so there is a world where our 10:30 game next week vs Cal does better numbers than FSU-Clemson if they get the espn timeslot and not the ABC timeslot. (even though unlikely)

What big games have been happening out west vs east coast games that ESPN hold the rights to?

Auburn played Cal at 1030 last year. Miss State at ASU this year at 1030.

It's definitely possible.

I'd just point out that K-State vs. BYU involved two undefeated same-conference teams that are more western than Miami. Hopefully, there will be a west coast "curiosity factor" to see Miami-Cal. I also think the Miami-USF OOC matchup was limited by USF's appeal, or lack thereof. USF will draw more interest if they can start winning again with consistency.

Nobody denies that the 10:30 timeslot has minimal competition. It's a big slice of a smaller eyeball pie.

****, I'll be AT the game. Would still like for east coast fans to be able to see the whole game before midnight.

Grew up in Miami - moved to Cal about 12 years ago. College fans in California stink however
- watching college football on the west coast is great

6am - College Game day
9am - Noon games kick off
8pm - After dark is great

PS Super Bowl is over at around 9pm
