If I’m trying to just be positive here we go.

OL last year was trash, TVD was often injured and he made a terrible OC hire.

This year, TVD has been awful in conference games. That’s his only excuse, none of the loses this year have been by much pts difference and the GT loss was an anomaly if you wanna call it that, should never happen again.

If Mario keeps building the roster and gets good QB play next year we could win 9-10 games.

I would love a world where Mario is the OL coach/recruiting coordinator and Lane is the HC lol

If Mario is struggling to get to 7 wins next year I’m all for making a move for Lane Kiffin, even if it’s just a mirage of false hope because none of his teams have ever been complete teams

The Alabama standard? Bama hasn’t won **** the last 3 years.

Again, they were ranked top 15 when Bama beat them 2 years ago. He finished 8-5 last year and they’re going to get stomped again on Saturday.

They beat ranked now 3 loss LSU at home by a TD. The same LSU that got embarrassed by Bama this past week.

They beat that stout Tulane team which is ranked #24 with the QB that we want to get in the portal. Oh that’s right that QB didn’t play in that game. So they beat Tulanes backup.

Let’s see they lost to Bama…..forgot about the Bama standard so that one doesn’t count.

Beat a ****** unranked A&M team by 3 points. Also beat really bad unranked auburn and Arkansas teams.

Lane will end up 10-2 in year 3 having beat LSU at home as his really only quality win. But I forgot SEC SEC SEC.

Lane does not win big games. 1-19 against teams that end the season with 9 or more wins. That’s an amazing stat.

You know what's amazing? Losing to mtsu, gt, NC state, going to overtime with uva.

meanwhile we've won 10 games once in 18. years or some ****. were on track to lose out this year. we also can't even have a functional team against p5 competition in 2 years w Mario.
 
I mean, at this point maybe the real insanity is us fans expecting 10+ win seasons despite a 20+ year period of evidence that shows the improbability of that type of season, regardless of coaching, talent discrepancies, and whatever other factors.

Maybe we'd all be happier with UM with our expectations geared towards a 7-5/8-4 season lol.

Someone who actually brings something to the table outside of recruiting.

Someone who knows how to identify quality offensive coordinators.

Dawson is a dud regardless of TVD. And clearly we aren’t going to move foward as a program until the staff prioritizes offense. Averaging 20 points in conference play gets you nowhere.

Since I’m on the West Coast, this is a fairly easy debunk.

Exhibit A: The University of Washington.
*Original Contract: 5 yrs $16.5m*

Took over a 4-8 UW team, that also went 25-18 over a 4 year span.

He’s now 21-2 in the last two seasons w/ less talent than both Oregon & USC

How?
