A former North Carolina football player just put him on blast on the radio.

Says He encouraged him to take the fraud classes and said if you care about your education you shouldve went to Harvard.

Yep. All it did was make him untouchable as a coach and got him on ESPNU. We'll see as this continues if he even has that job next season. All that "*** going to classes" stuff made him perpetually 8-5. Looks like it was worth it.
 
Story on foxnews says former football player just filed suit against UNC for sham classes. Over three thousand students enrolled in them. More than half were athletes.
 
finally, the first confirmation that butch davis won't be the next head coach of the miami hurricanes. this is the first sign.... before this it seemed totally plausible.........
 
So let me get this straight, a player got a free education and now he is suing b/c the classes werent hard enough? He made the choice to sign up for them

This is so ******* hilarious. This poster is gonna say, "a player got a free education and now he is suing b/c the classes werent hard enough?" Yeah..he wanted to get the most out of his "free" education. And you're under estimating how much pull a coach has on a kid

Yea, the hospital I worked at was sued by a guy who stabbed his wife alleging the hospital did not do enough to save her life.
 
****. The most upsetting thing is his talent evaluation skills will never be put to use again. That man knew how to build a program from the bottom, up. **** shame.

But the butch ship sailed a while ago unfortunately.
 
TOAST TOAST TOAST...Hope this is the last time I hear the Butch Davis Train pulling into Coral Gables...He knew the classes were bogus and promoted his players to sign up for them...UNC is going to set the record for probation and sanctions when this is all over...
