Is there any reason this play is run more than two or three times a game? Teams seem to adjust to it.

Seems like it has worked 3-4 times out of the 20 times we have run it.must work in practice with the DBs 10 yards from the LOS

It's a good extension of the running game, when the right package of athletes are on the field. No way should it be such a staple of our offense, not with our current personnel.

Other teams like Baylor seem to have trips then have the inside guy take the bubble screen on the go and they have more of a shot. Our bubble screen goes to the middle guy who just stands there, by the time they get going they can only get 10 yards tops but usually get blown up by the corner who dodged the block. Perhaps we should change to the Baylor style one.

They don't work because we don't block well enough on the outside. No bubble screen will work if the blocks are whiffed.

Bubble screens are just based on numbers. If you have numbers or leverage on the outside you throw bubble. If you don't have numbers on the outside then you probably have numbers on the inside. (thus you run the ball)

I don't know WTF we're doing because our bubbles seldom work.
