Says who??? Our usage of TEs has never been a focus under Dawson. You somehow thought that was going to change??? Look at all the hype with Lofton coming into the season, what did his usage look like?

Yes. I believe both him and Gilbert also played in USF and one more game (Stanford?) but didn't get any targets. Granted, that competition was weak. I'm not denying that.

Again, I'm not asking for Lofton and Bauman to be benched permanently. I'm simply asking why we didn't see more of Gilbert and Schott when Lofton was injured and struggling and Bauman was just struggling. Let Schott/Gilbert get some of Lofton's snaps while he's nursing an injury. It's not like Schott and Gilbert are sloths out there. Both are way more athletic and a threat in the passing game than either Lofton/Bauman. I'm sure they don't know the offense as well and probably struggle in recognizing their responsibilities in pass protection. Why not let them learn? They couldn't have played any worse than Bauman and Lofton the first half of the season.

Tough but blame it on the schedule. There will be thousands in the portal and 132 teams will be working it without games to plan for. If they don’t hope in they could be left picking from scraps with **** teams

A question in general. If a player enters the portal, does the university have to take them back, or can they say at that point, be gone and it is over? Wondered that.

Bauman has the 7th most ******* snaps of anyone on our offense, and Lofton is 12th.

But sure TEs are used in our offense. ... lmao yall just be saying ****

His mother is a friend of my Wife and yes, he's been injured or at least not healthy all season.

He's been injured and yes, he feels far from home. I kind of chalked that up to what a mother would say about their kid being far from home, but it's likely the case. Good people though.

I'm not surprised at all. Where he's from, it's like a different world than Miami. IU, ND, or even OSU would be good landing spots. Wish him well.
 
I'm not an "I told you so" person and I'm not really doing it here either but I've pointed out/asked what the **** our TE coach is actually good at multiple times. He's a ******* ghost, NOBODY talks about him. His rotation is *** and our TEs are legitimate dog****....what is he good at?

I have seen this mentioned a few times now, and knowing how injuries can isolate a kid from the team, I am sure that homesickness had a better chance to fester over the course of the year.

Off to the side during practice, not dressing for games, additional hours with the training staff, not lifting with the team, etc, etc... all make it tough on any player let alone a freshman from indiana.

Sucks for him and us.

Snaps doesn’t equal usage.

You shouldn’t be calling anybody dumb if you don’t know the difference.

How does snaps not equal usage lol. If Schott was getting snaps he probably doesn't transfer lmao what a stupid thing to say
