No one is talking about blocking and understanding our scheme. The reason our freshman play in this offense is because you see clear understanding of role and assignment, and a willingness to block. Toney, Moore, and Pringle.

If you block, you are granted opportunities to be involved in the offense. You block on 60% of all plays and run a route on 40%. It's possible that regardless of physical gifts and receiving talent that the understanding of assignment did not click and therefore opportunities were not granted.

Just like Brantley is the best CB on the team? Despite Schott physical tools, he has trouble catching and I guarantee he’s not a better blocker than any of the starting TEs. Whether he wants to put in the work and develop at Miami is up to him.

Yeah I agree with you.. but would have loved to see him work with the staff, I think if he stayed and had the opportunity in games, he would show out

But if hes not willing to compete then ...see ya!

Brantley had the best tape out of any db we currently have on our team. I would love if he was able to get another year and give him a shot in scotts place

If Schott enters portal, we need to go get Dorian Thomas or Foley in portal. No excuses. We can NOT enter next season with Incoming Freshman, and just Lofton and Gilbert at TE. And just getting a blocking TE type is not good enough period.

Thomas has the potential to be that Arroyo replacement in the passing game.

We don’t really use TE’s the way we traditionally did these days. They play more of a blocking and short possession receiver type role.

Not true. Elijah Arroyo was definitely used a lot last season.

Was excited about this kid’s potential but it wasn’t meant to be I guess. I’m really excited by that Mueller kid we got late in the cycle though. Better size and good speed. Hopefully he can contribute right away
