He likely is a mid major type bball kid.

But the overall thought process on Russell went down on this board the minute most on here realize he wasnt a lay up (pun intended).

He is what he is to me...a tall, wiry, twitchy kid, with a big catch radius, and nice quickness in n out of his breaks for his height. He has holes ...and isnt JJ Smith. He isnt as athletic as the JJ smiths, Ridley, Jeudy,Ahmonn Richards, but falls in line with the Jacorey Brooks/ JO JO Trader tier of s.fla top dog wrs.

MNW is a pretty serious track program.

This kid is doing ot7 tourneys, regular team 7on 7 tourneys, playing basketball going deep into the playoffs in that...i dont take any of his track numbers serious because like stated i dont know where he got the time to even truly perform there.

More skilled probably but nah Russell’s measurables and athleticism will take him further than Lopez in basketball

At 6’5 with his traits you can just be good in college and make the NFL…at 6’5 and in basketball (and he’s not an athletic freak although he’s a good athlete) and a decent jumper he wouldn’t even get a decent look by the NBA. And let’s also be honest..he’s not getting high level P5 offers from basketball schools outside of the schools doing the football program a favor by offering him. Hes good at basketball but let’s not get carried away.
