I dont believe so, but his uncle is Kenneth Gant who played with Dallas and Tampa in the 90s.

Former UGA Commit and Former Marshall Safety Kendall Gant is his cousin.

Kendall was also a long time commit for CMR when he was still at UGA. Only reason why he ended up at Marshall was grade concerns. He told me he has put in a good word regarding CMR, Brown, and Hartley but he said Brendan will make his own decisions.
