I was there and everyone including myself was stunned...
But I recorded the game and saw his plant foot skid some...and he was ran into which should have been a penalty but he didn't sell it
 
I hope he lives long (and kicks long) and prospers. He went on Twitter afterwards and posted "Sorry Canes Fam". I thought that was kinda nice, all things considered, and was glad to see he had at least 500 positive replies last I checked, and no hate. Definitely No Hate Here (I hope.)

Good on him....he is a true Freshman..and he won the App St game.
He has to hit that kick though and hopefully he will just take it as water under the bridge

I was in the stands, but I didn't see the kick. I heard it, as I was staring straight down at the floor with the knowledge the football gods would not let us win because we simply did not deserve it. I was 0% stunned.
