Hello gents, recently I have been bringing books with me to the field when out training. During down time I'll read a few chapters here and there or whatnot. Most books I choose are controversial works of literature or educational reading

This thread is for people to throw out recommendations of books for others to read.

Three of my favorite books that I've read recently were:
Brave New World by Aldous Huxley
Stranger in a Strange Land by Robert Heinlen
Atomic Habits by James Clear

Highly recommend the first two to anyone looking for some interesting perspectives from the last century and the last for those looking for self improvement.

I just found an old copy of Brave New World and Brave New World Revisited from 1965, but I haven't started on it yet.

Some books I'll throw on here if y'all like Biography's:

Dave Grohl: I thought his was pretty vulnerable and open.

Seth Rogen: Hilarious, entertaining, and pretty open.

Its a weird ride man. It touches a bit on Henry Ford's belief system and I didn't know how ****ed that was.

A friend got me to read Blood Meridian by Cormac McCarthy recently, and I can't recommend avoiding that book enough.
 
Highly recommend Dostoevsky, I'd start with Crime and Punishment, then Brother's Karamazov. Then another great piece of literature during Stalinist Russian time is "The Master and Margarita". It's a favorite of mine.
