If we don't win the Coastal next year, Mark won't return for a 5th season. However it's handled, season number 4 will either be one of positive growth or "something" will happen and he simply won't be there.

One other - in order to keep Manny, I would not be overly surprised if he were made HC in waiting. If I were Manny, I'd demand it. After this season, he could show a little leg to a number of top schools with big pockets to come and be the highest paid DC in the land. Also, he will get sniffs at some HC gigs.

Manny’s dad is the former Mayor of Miami and has lots of connections.

Something to think about.

Have to see what happens this off season from the recruiting class,players transferring and coaching changes.that will dictate what will happen next year.just be patient it'll work itself out.

i agree Relly. 2019 could be really ugly.. we won't have the defense we had this year... with the cupcake schedule we had 2018 should have been the year to make the playoffs

Couple that w/o having JT4, a severally ?able OL w no elderstatesmen to anchor the line, I have my doubts, especially if things remain status quo.

You know what, honestly? I’m not worried about the D. Perhaps I’m being naive, but we got a good coach in Diaz. One thing he’s shown, unlike his counterpart, is that he innovative and can really improvise on the go. His words, “Everyone eats on this D.” Can any coach on O say that? No. That is because no one on the other side has earned their paycheck. Legit reason to worry.
