Nothing makes me more sick than the “fans” who will endlessly trash players in order to defend coaches.

The players are kids, who came here based on a promise of winning and personal and professional development. They are unpaid. They risk their health. And the ONE thing they are hoping for in return is success on the field, so that they can provide for their families.

The coaches are paid 6 and 7 figures. Their job is to put these kids in a position to shine. That means scheme, teaching, development. They are pure mercenaries, and when they fail, they cost players not only the opportunity to win, but they cost them their futures as pro players.

And yet we have fans that are so enamored with the coach, who is an FSU grad who was Temple bound, all bc he’s cuban, said “violence” and came up with some silly props, that they defend him and his staff feverishly.

It is DISGUSTING and blaming players to prop up fraud coaches is the most shameful thing a “fan” can do.

They aren't kids. Having such low expectations for these young men is part of the problem.

First off, who's doing anything like that? Second, there's no room to call out players? Not bash, but mention that guys aren't executing? I see guys missing blocks, not because they're outclassed, but because they just aren't doing their job. I see guys drop the ball. Maybe the staff need to spend more time on catching, but in the end there's only one person who can catch the ball and it's not a coach. Penalties? Yeah, a well coached team is mentally tough and doesn't commit many, but in the end it's up to the players to execute.

Coaches bear most of the blame, but players need to do the fcking jobs on Saturday.

Been here more than a few minutes, and I rarely see the players getting "trashed." That said, we do have extremely high expecatations of our staff AND players and rightfully so in spite of almost 2 decades of embracing the suck. College football is a better place when we don't suck.

The Bautista lovers are so desperate to prop up this fraud corch that they have called the players “losers” “selfish” “lost” “fat” etc etc etc.

These same exact kids with a real coach would win the Coastal easily.

If you are blaming the players you are part of the problem, bc it gives these millionaire frauds excuses to steal money from the school.

Blame everybody.

And they're not "kids."

Yall treating these grown *** dudes like they kids is why they act so **** entitled. Did you call Ed Reed a "kid?"

Part of the reason why the whole culture of South Florida so **** soft. You don't see folks in Alabama, Georgia, or the Big 10 referring to players as "kids." Some weak *** **** calling them "kids" until they **** near 25 years old smh
