Blake James lacks well, you know

After 4 failed corching hires in a row it's time someone higher up falls on the sword as well.

To be fair, most people thought Rick would be hellbent on winning a ring at his alma mater. Turned out it was his retirement plan. He fooled many of us. That's not the shameful part, keeping him after he's been found out is what is shameful.

People who were just homers hoped he’d be what you said. Most who paid attention to him at UGA were skeptical.

Truth is he’s worse than most skeptics thought. He’s Alfraud Gluten II.

Kinda have to be homers for a coaching hire. Going to be stuck with the guy for awhile. But if FSU had hired Rick we would have laughed.
 
Barry Jackson's article is frightening. He's calling for Richt to be given another year with this system and to have Thomas Brown, who called players cancers, calling plays and then, if it fails again, the following year we should go with a new system. Smh. At a minumum this system needs to go at the end of this season and someone independent of Richt needs to be calling plays. Not like he's going anywhere.

He is only the AD because he fell as$backwards into the position. The two prior ADs left and he was there.

The decision makers choose to leave him in power because of apathy.

Like I said, nothing likely changes until you bring in a competent and passionate AD with autonomy.

Unfortunately there is no one higher that can fall on the proverbial sword. This was Blake's first hire; Holcutt of Eichorst (spelling?) was the one that hired Golden. But it's clear that in the last 17 years we need to revamp our athletic department because Blake James needs to go as well. And let's not give Blake credit for Coach L in basketball, he had to pitch himself for the job and Blake fell into that one as well.

Blake also promoted the assistant coach on the team that missed the baseball postseason - twice - for the first time in 44 years.

Just fixing the timeline...Blake wasn't the AD that was "in charge" when Coach L was hired.

Coach L was hired in April 2011. Eichorst was the AD on that day.

You are correct. In that case, Blake James doesn't even have a successful hire on his resume. Again, he's just a guy that's thrown out there to get donations. Suffice it to say, he's far off from being a Sam Jankovich.
 
Richt seemed to be energetic at first but now looks burnt out like golden did, he's gotta go or massive changes need to be made now, not 2 years from now.

By the way, the Coach L hiring (the events surrounding it) were even more pathetic. Our decision makers never heard of him so they asked him to actually submit a resume. You know kind of like how you would hire an unknown gym teacher from a district you never heard of.

I also think we live in the past too much. Saban didn't build Bama back in the legend of Bear, Saban built it his way. You dont hear much about the past from Saban, it's more of the present and the "next game"

the past was full of many problems and disappointments also. Many don't know the details, only the highlights get spoken about....yes we suck again right now

These nerd reporters just want attention and have no real grasp on sports, especially ones like fat **** Barry Jackson likely never played.
 
If this season ends, in terms of wins and losses, the way it looks like it’s going to end, it’s going to be a really interesting off season for UM and it’s football program.

"I will be surprised if athletic director Blake James forces Richt to hire an offensive coordinator, or relinquish play-calling, if he’s opposed. That’s not James’ style." aka Blake James is huge ******* ******, this article was frightening indeed. Also, lets me know Barry Jackson is about as smart as Richt.
