“That starts with me. Everybody’s got to be accountable,” he said Monday. “We all have to look in the mirror, take care of business, watch film and don’t make any excuses."
I'm not a Golden homer and that Louisville game was pretty inexcusable to lose after watching that game and realizing that Louisville is average and we were clearly more talented, and lots of to change, mainly offensively. My point is, the quote that I took from it above, that's the first time I've actually heard him blame himself and/or the rest of the coaching staff for a lose.
Still think he should be gone sooner then later, but if he can somehow turn this around come Nebraska time, and by the power of the Gods beat them, and somewhat convincingly, I may give him a chance to redeem himself for the rest of the season.
Point is, to me at least, he's finally not blaming, the cloud, the youth of the roster, or penalties, or the sky being blue for problems, he finally blamed himself and his coaching staff, so personally, I wanna see what kinda balls he's got to make changes here.
